Sunflower Singers

Singing is a well recognised way to improve feelings of Wellbeing. Our Sunflower Singers groups are a totally joyful way to spend our time, where a warm welcome awaits. Join us for a singalong, friendship and a cuppa which has made our Sunflower Singers groups at Margam, Cwmgwrach, Cwmavon and Taibach  a real success story.

2025 has seen the establishment of two more Singing for Wellbeing groups at Cwmavon and Taibach, spreading even more musical joy throughout the communities of Neath Port Talbot.

We have enjoyed a few more gigs at Aberafan Shopping Centre this year, with over 60 of our ‘Sunflower Singers’ entertaining the shoppers on Saturday afternoons and absolutely loving it.

Empower Inspire CIC are Delivery Partners for the Alzhiemer’s Society, and it is well documented the value of singing on the Wellbeing of individuals living with Dementia – but our doors are open to everyone. A totally inclusive, safe space where everyone is welcome to share in our love of music and singing. The classes are a wonderful mix of fun, joyful singing, and a heartwarming sense of community.
